Waterfind at the 2022 Riverland Field Days

Last weekend on the 16th and 17th of September, Waterfind set up at site 622B at the Riverland Field Days to connect with our Riverland community.

Our Local Water Account Managers, Thomas Andrews, Jason Pilgrim, Oscar Harding, Henry Harding and our General Manager Peter Duggin had numerous conversations with the local community about the issues that growers and irrigators face and how water can be part of the solution to those issues.

Speaking to industry leaders and investors, there is an understanding that pricing in the permanent market will appreciate over time - it's a perfect time to secure your future permanent water entitlements as we go into another season of high variability. It was also understood that whilst prices in the temporary market are low and appearing to lower further as the season continues, it will not last forever and prices will increase, placing more demand and thought towards Long-Term Lease agreements.

As you can see we are more than just water brokers and love going out to events like these and meeting all of our clients. It is important to us to not only know your water needs but also understand you, your business and your family. Waterfind was delighted to attend the Riverland Field Days for 2022, after a 2 year hiatus, and welcoming a large turnout of the regional community, especially those interested in water markets and a sausage sizzle!
