New Waterfind Office Opened in Berri

Waterfind has opened a new office in Berri in the Riverland, South Australia.

Amos Weigall is settling into his new role as Regional Manager and Grower Ambassador, and looking forward to meeting with clients to assist with their water needs. The Berri office is located 9 Kay Avenue.

The office was officially opened by Tim Whetstone MP on 20 May 2021. Invited guests included Mayor Peter Hunt JP, Deputy Mayor, Ella Winnall and Tony Pasin MP. The event provided a networking opportunity for agribusinesses and industry leaders from the region, during which Waterfind CEO and Founder, Tom Rooney, also presented Waterfind's new Valuation Services.

Valuing water through markets has been key to encouraging improvements in water markets.

"Waterfind has returned to its roots,” Mr Whetstone said.

“The Rooney family are the pioneers of the water-broking business, and they’ve come back to the Riverland with that level of expertise.

“I speak often with Tom about local issues that need to be addressed.

“The business model for irrigation in the Riverland has changed, and a lot of irrigators now rely on temporary transfers.”
